Resources for Remote Learning

Student Services

It’s important for you to know that we are doing the best we can to support you during remote instruction. While our services may not be as comprehensive as they are in person, we aim to support you as holistically as possible.

Basic Needs Resources

The Student Needs Advising Center (SNAC) at the UCen continues to be open. Check out their hours above and other basic needs resources available to students.

Financial Support

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships assists with financial aid related needs. The Financial Crisis Response Team is available. They can help with financial challenges that may arise for students through grants, vouchers, scholarships, case management, and other forms of aid. Emergency food grants may be available. Email FinancialCrisis@sa.ucsb.edu to get in touch.

Student Wellbeing

This site provides a range of resources related to student wellbeing – Basic Needs, CAPS, CARE, Health & Wellness, and Student Health. We care about your wellbing during remote instruction.

Student Affairs

Click above for a comprehensive list of Student Affairs departments and resources.

Note! First-generation college students, you’ve had many firsts and we know you’ll get through this one as well. For guidance, support, and questions, make sure to set up an appointment with an EOP counselor or Peer Mentor. Undocumented students, please see this list of resources that are available to you on campus and in the community. If you have any questions, contact Diana Valdivia in Undocumented Student Services.
