It’s important to seek academic advising in order to maintain your desired time to degree. Meet with your Major/Department advisor for matters related to your major degree, and meet with College advisors to discuss other matters related to your degree and UCSB experience.
Fall 2020 Grading Option Change
Because of the uncertainties created by COVID-19 pandemic, the UCSB Academic Senate has decided to extend the grading option change deadline from November 20, 2020, to December 11, 2020, (the last day of instruction) for students in the College of Engineering and the College of Letters and Science.
Through December 11th, Engineering and Letters and Science students may go into GOLD and change the grading option for optional grading courses. Please keep in mind that courses in the Preparation for a Major, Pre-Major courses, and Upper Division Major courses should be taken for a letter grade. For more details about this change, please consult your college’s advising website:
